Exness Review

Fees, Spreads, Regulation, Pros & Cons 2026

By InvestingFXWeb Editorial Team Fact-checked Last updated: September 2026

Verdict at a Glance

Exness is a unique broker best known for its instant withdrawal system — the only major broker that processes withdrawals automatically within seconds, 24/7, including weekends. With leverage up to 1:2000, no minimum deposit on Standard accounts, and CySEC + FCA regulation, it appeals to traders who need instant access to their funds and high leverage. It is ideal for scalpers who need quick withdrawals and traders in regions where payment processing is slow. It is less suited to traders who need cTrader or TradingView (not supported) or those who are uncomfortable with the wide spreads during news events. The lack of segregated funds and negative balance protection under some entities is a notable concern.

Our Rating

84 / 100
Trading Experience87/100

Instant withdrawals 24/7 is a genuine game-changer — no other broker matches this.

However, spreads widen significantly during news events, which can cause unexpected slippage.

Platforms80/100

MT4 and MT5 are supported with full EA and mobile capabilities.

No cTrader or TradingView support, which is a significant gap compared to IC Markets or Pepperstone.

Markets75/100

200+ instruments covers all major asset classes but is much smaller than IC Markets (2,250+) or FP Markets (10,000+).

Stock CFD selection is limited compared to share-focused brokers.

Trust85/100

CySEC (Licence 178/12) and FCA (Licence 730729) regulation provide tier-1 oversight.

However, segregated funds and negative balance protection are not provided under all entities — a notable concern.

Costs88/100

Raw Spread account has commission from $0.05/lot/side — extremely low. Standard account has no commission.

No deposit or withdrawal fees. No minimum deposit on Standard account.

Support90/100

24/7 support via live chat, email, and phone — matches IC Markets for round-the-clock availability.

Support is available in multiple languages and is generally responsive.

Client Fund Protection

Exness holds client funds in segregated accounts under its CySEC and FCA entities. However, under the FSA Seychelles entity, segregation of client funds is not guaranteed to the same standard. Traders should verify which entity they are registered under before depositing. The broker uses SSL encryption for all data transfers. Two-factor authentication is available for account login. It is important to note that negative balance protection is not provided under all entities — check your specific entity's terms.

Negative Balance Protection

Partial — Negative balance protection is provided for retail clients under the CySEC and FCA entities, as required by EU and UK regulations. However, under the FSA Seychelles entity, negative balance protection may not be guaranteed. Traders using high leverage (up to 1:2000) under the Seychelles entity should be aware that they could potentially lose more than their deposit in extreme market conditions.

Bonuses & Promotions

Exness does not offer welcome bonuses or deposit bonuses. The broker focuses on providing the best possible trading conditions: instant withdrawals, ultra-low spreads, and high leverage. The lack of bonuses is by design — Exness believes that lower trading costs and instant withdrawals provide more long-term value than one-time bonus offers that often come with restrictive volume requirements.

Trading Conditions

Exness offers multiple pricing models. The Standard account has no commission and spreads from 0.3 pips. The Raw Spread account charges from $0.05 per lot per side — one of the lowest commissions in the industry — with spreads from 0.0 pips. The Zero account offers zero spread on major pairs (EUR/USD, GBP/USD, USD/JPY) with a round-turn commission. Maximum leverage is up to 1:2000 on certain instruments for clients under the FSA Seychelles entity, though leverage is dynamically adjusted based on account equity, trading instrument, and market conditions. Scalping, hedging, and Expert Advisors are all fully supported. A key concern is that spreads can widen significantly during major news events — spreads that are normally 0.1 pips can jump to 3-5 pips for several seconds during NFP or rate decisions.

Overnight Swap (Rollover) Fees

Overnight swap (rollover) fees apply on all accounts except swap-free accounts. Exness offers swap-free accounts on most instruments by default for clients in certain regions. Swap rates vary by instrument. For high-leverage positions held overnight, swap costs can be significant and should be factored into trading decisions.

Deposits & Withdrawals

Exness is famous for its instant withdrawal system — most withdrawal requests are processed automatically within seconds, 24/7, including weekends and public holidays. This is virtually unmatched in the industry. Available payment methods include Visa, Mastercard, Skrill, Neteller, Perfect Money, bank wire, and cryptocurrency (Bitcoin, USDT, Ethereum).

Deposits are also instant for most methods. There are no deposit or withdrawal fees from Exness. Crypto withdrawals are particularly fast, often completing within minutes. The minimum withdrawal amount varies by payment method but is generally very low. Exness does not require a minimum deposit on Standard accounts, making it accessible to all traders.

KYC (Know Your Customer) Requirements

KYC verification is required before withdrawals. You must submit a government-issued photo ID and a proof of address. Exness uses an automated verification system that can approve many documents within minutes. The verification process is generally faster than most competitors, which aligns with the broker's focus on instant processing.

Final Verdict

Exness is a specialist broker that excels at two things: instant withdrawals and high leverage. If you need instant access to your funds or trade with high leverage, Exness is the best option in the market. However, the limited platform support (no cTrader or TradingView), small instrument range (200+), and concerns about fund protection under the FSA Seychelles entity mean it is not the best all-round choice. For traders who prioritise execution quality and platform diversity, IC Markets or Pepperstone are stronger options. Our overall score of 84/100 reflects its excellence in its niche but acknowledges its limitations as a general-purpose broker.

1:2000 leverage with instant withdrawals

I use Exness for high-leverage trading on the FSA Seychelles entity. 1:2000 leverage means I can trade large positions with a small account. The instant withdrawal feature means I can pull profits out anytime. Spreads on the Raw Spread account are competitive. Just be aware that the FSA entity does not provide negative balance protection — manage risk carefully with this leverage.

Instant withdrawals are a game changer

The instant withdrawal feature at Exness is incredible. I requested a withdrawal at 2am on a Sunday and the money was in my Skrill account within 30 seconds. No other broker I have used offers this. The Raw Spread account has competitive pricing and 1:2000 leverage on the FSA entity. No minimum deposit means you can start with any amount. Highly recommend for traders who value fast access to their funds.

Instant withdrawals 24/7 even on weekends, no minimum deposit

FSA Seychelles entity has fewer regulatory protections

Fund protection concerns with Seychelles entity

I opened an account with Exness and was initially happy. But when I dug deeper, I realised my account was under the FSA Seychelles entity, which does not guarantee segregated funds or negative balance protection. This is a serious concern when trading with 1:2000 leverage. The instant withdrawals are great but fund safety is more important. Be careful which entity you are registered under.

High leverage is a double-edged sword

The 1:2000 leverage at Exness is attractive but also dangerous. I made good profits in my first month but then a sudden market spike wiped out my account because I was over-leveraged. The broker itself is not to blame — they warn about the risks — but I want to caution other traders. I have since moved to IC Markets for better platform choice.

Perfect for starting with almost nothing

Exness is great for beginners because there is literally no minimum deposit. I started with $5 and was able to trade 0.01 lots on the Standard account. The MT5 mobile app works smoothly. Spreads are a bit wider than ECN brokers but for someone just starting out, it is more than acceptable. The instant withdrawal feature means I can access my money whenever I need it.

Instant withdrawals really are instant

I was sceptical about Exness claim of instant withdrawals but after testing it for 6 months I can confirm — withdrawals are processed within seconds, 24/7, including weekends. I tested this at 2am on a Sunday and the Skrill withdrawal appeared in my account in under 30 seconds. This is genuinely unmatched. CySEC regulation adds trust.

Spreads widen too much during news

Exness is convenient for deposits and withdrawals but I have noticed significant spread widening during major news events like NFP and rate decisions. Spreads that are normally 0.1 pips can jump to 3-5 pips for a few seconds. This is problematic if you trade news. The instant withdrawal feature is genuinely amazing though. Platform is MT4 and MT5 which works fine. Customer support is available 24/7 and responsive.

Instant withdrawals are a game changer

Exness is the only broker I know that processes withdrawals instantly 24/7, even on weekends. I tested this multiple times — Skrill withdrawals appear in my account within seconds. The high leverage of 1:2000 is great for small accounts but should be used carefully. Spreads on the Standard account are competitive and the no minimum deposit is perfect for beginners. CySEC regulation adds trust.

Great for scalping

Exness offers incredible leverage and instant withdrawals which is perfect for my scalping strategy. The only downside is that spreads can widen during news events. Overall a solid choice for active traders.
